We moved from Rotterdam to Birmingham (UK) in 2020, right at the time the world came to a standstill. I explored our new neighbourhood, within 1 km from our doorstep and discovered empty lanes, streetlights that shone for no-one, a lonely passer-by hurrying to a better place, a ghost in an abandoned city. I documented a year in which ‘lockdown’ became a familiar saying, in colour and in black and white. Fifty-four photographs were selected to be bundled in a limited-edition book entitled ‘A Clot in Time’. The number of copies will be restricted to sixty at most. All books will be signed and provided with a unique fine art print of an image not included in the book. I am very proud of this wonderful gem! Subscription starts today and will end May 31 2021 or earlier (as soon as the number of fifty subscribers has been reached). This one-off edition is for sale for €50. Reserve your copy via email (dijlsuitgeverij@gmail.com) or SMS / WhatsApp (+316 24906505).
